Live Preview Page is where you want to navigate to in order to make a capture.

Here is a breakdown of actions you can do on this page:

  1. Toggle the grid on/off (useful for model/accessory alignment)

  2. Toggle the mask on/off

  3. Turn the lights on/off (useful to check if the light settings values are correctly set)

  4. (light settings, number of frames per capture)

  5. Take a test shot (necessary to create a mask for the capture)

  6. Capture (initiates the rig capture process)

The most prominent feature of this page is the live stream feedback from the rig camera. If the camera is responsive and properly connected to the rig you should see the live stream as soon as you open Live Preview Page.

Troubleshooting live stream if it is not being displayed:

  • Take a test shot and verify if it is properly saved in the TestShots folder located on your desktop.

  • If the test shot is saved correctly, restart the application and check if the live stream appears.

  • If the live stream still doesn't show up after you have restarted the application, it could be that camera is stuck in a busy state. You can fix this by turning the camera off/on again and restarting the application.

  • If it still doesn't show up, then disconnect the camera USB port from the rig (or mac dongle) and reconnect it in order to re-establish the port connection. Restart the application and verify it works correctly.
