# Machine Selection

The first screen you are greeted after the welcome screen is the machine selection screen shown on the image below.

1. You can always use the logo located in the navbar to navigate to this page.
2. Choose an existing operator or create a new one.
3. Select the machine model you want to use for the shooting.
4. Use the ***Next*** button to navigate to the [***Shoot Action Page***](https://docs.orb360.tech/orb360-documentation/software/shoot-actions-page).

The "Next" button will stay disabled until the operator and machine are properly selected.

### Choosing the operator

To choose an existing operator, start typing their name and a dropdown menu will appear with suggestions so you can pick the desired one.

Upon selecting the operator from the dropdown, it will be highlighted in a black box with white letters as shown in the image above.

If you want to create a new operator, you can simply type in its name and press the enter/return key. This will highlight it to indicate that you have chosen those operator details.
