Turn "Auto rotate" Off

Disable the camera "Auto power off", this prevents the camera from going to sleep which causes it to disconnect from the software.

Set the camera to single-point focus. To focus the camera, switch to autofocus mode, focus on the model/item, then switch back to manual.
