To set up a ghost image set you should follow the instructions on the provided ghost background There are three setups; full-length, top half, and bottom half.
Note that for ghost shoots you should be using the Canon RF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens. If you don't have this lens for some reason, please ensure you set the zoom lens to 50mm.
Full Length For full-length you align the bottom center of the top squares of the built-in 6x4 camera gird to the two black crosses labeled "Full". Set the camera to the distance and height shown on the background, 3.8m distance from the background (3m from the center on the disk). The height should be 1.31m from the floor to the center of the sensor.
Top For the top half, you align the top left and right of the image to the green markers labeled "Top", you should be able to see the green squares, but not the black ones. Set the camera to the distance and height shown on the background, 2.5m distance from the background. The height should be 1.54m from the floor to the center of the sensor.
Bottom For the top half, you align the top left and right of the image to the blue markers labeled "Bottom", you should be able to see the blue squares, but not the black ones. Set the camera to the distance and height shown on the background, 2.8m distance from the background. The height should be 1.06m from the floor to the center of the sensor.
